Selena Gomez, an actress and a singer, is well-known throughout the world. She's been involved in many projects, but her involvement in the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has enjoyed the highest success. Selena Marie Gomez's full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22, 1992, at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. The mother of Selena's, Amanda Cornett was just 16 when Selena was conceived. Her first stage work at the age of 9 when she was Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. She became one of those youngsters who had the chance to play with the world's most famous human-like dinosaur in the form of a purple. Selena participated in numerous episodes from season 7 and 8. Between 2001 and 2003, she was a part of the cast. Fun fact: Selena was not the only actor who appeared in Barney as well as his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato was also part of the team that starred in the series. When the show ended Selena Gomez auditioned for several roles on other shows and film, but not much success. She was given a brief role in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) as well as a role that was similar to Julie from Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire.
